We are proudly based in Bickington, South Devon, placing us perfectly to capture the rugged beauty of Dartmoor and the dramatic Westcountry coastline. While Devon is our home, we are available to travel anywhere in the world for weddings, commercial projects, and tailored workshops. For locations within Devon, travel is fully included. For commissions outside the county or international destinations, a transparent travel and accommodation fee will be calculated and added to your bespoke quote. To make the process as seamless as possible, we accept a variety of secure payment methods, including: Direct Bank Transfer (BACS): Our preferred method for wedding balances, workshop bookings, and commercial projects. Credit & Debit Cards: Secure online card payments can be processed via our digital invoicing system. Online Payment Links: Quick and secure links can be sent directly to your email or phone, which is ideal for purchasing gift vouchers, print products, or photo restorations. Full payment details and instructions will be clearly outlined on your estimate or invoice. If you have a specific payment preference, just let us know!

Yes, absolutely! Our gift vouchers are completely flexible. Even if a voucher was originally purchased with a specific photography workshop in mind, it can be redeemed against any of our services or products—including portrait sessions, custom framing, or print products—up to the face value of the voucher. Please note that vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and we are unable to offer partial refunds or cash back if your chosen service comes to less than the total voucher amount. Any remaining balance can, however, be used toward future bookings or products before the voucher's expiry date.

Yes, absolutely. For all corporate headshots, product photography, and brand campaigns, we provide a commercial usage license alongside your final image gallery. This license grants your business the rights to use the images across your website, social media channels, digital marketing, and print advertising to promote your brand. Please note that while you receive extensive commercial rights to use and distribute the images for your business, Thorn Valley Studios retains the creative copyright. If you require an exclusive copyright buyout or third-party syndication rights (for example, licensing the images to a separate global brand), just let us know during our initial consultation, and we can tailor the license to your exact needs.

Yes, absolutely. Thorn Valley Studios is fully insured with comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance, which is required by most premium wedding and commercial venues.
