Why You Won’t (Automatically) See Your Wedding on Our Instagram

In a world where almost every moment is packaged, polished, and posted for likes, we’ve decided to do things a little differently here at Thorn Valley Studios.
If you spend some time scrolling through our social media, you might notice we aren't constantly flooding our grid with our clients' weddings or intimate portrait sessions. That is entirely by design.
We fundamentally believe that your images belong to you. It should be entirely up to you to decide what gets shared, who gets to see it, and when.
Collaboration Over Consumption
Now, this doesn’t mean we never share our work. Sometimes we do! But here is the Thorn Valley difference: it never happens automatically, and it never happens without a conversation.
If we want to share: If there is a particular shot or a stunning moment we’d love to showcase, we will always come to you first. We’ll talk about it, show you the selection, and ask for your blessing.
If you want to share: If you are thrilled with your gallery and want us to feature your day, we will gladly celebrate you right alongside your friends and family!
If you want total privacy: If you prefer to keep your photos tucked away in a beautiful album just for your inner circle, we honour and protect that choice absolutely.
The Luxury of Privacy

We view ourselves as the caretakers of your memories, not the owners. By stepping back from the constant need to feed the social media machine, we create space for a much better experience:
True Authenticity: We focus on capturing how your day felt, not just how it looks to an audience of strangers.
Zero Pressure: You don’t have to worry about being "content" for our business. You just get to be present.
Total Control: You are always in the driver’s seat. Your comfort and privacy will always outrank our marketing grid.
At Thorn Valley Studios, our priority isn't gaining followers, it's honouring you.
We’re here to give you timeless art, absolute respect, and the freedom to share your story on your own terms.
