Two Perspectives, One Shared Passion
Our journey together actually started behind the lens. After a chance meeting at a photoshoot for an Exeter radio station, we’ve been capturing the world side-by-side ever since.
While we share a love for the craft, our individual photographic styles couldn't be more different—which allows us to cover a lot of creative ground between us:

Will is drawn to the grand scale of the environment and the technical art of editing. He specializes in Landscape & Outdoor Photography Workshops, Portraiture, and meticulous Photo Restoration.

Laura prefers a more intimate approach, focusing her lens on the finer details and getting up close and personal with nature.
By combining Will’s technical eye for sweeping landscapes and portraits with Laura’s appreciation for the close-up, delicate details of the natural world, we offer a truly well-rounded approach to every project we take on.

Our own journey took a defining turn during the pandemic. Welcoming a new baby into the world during such an unprecedented time was a unique experience, to say the least. It forced us to slow down, reassess our daily lives, and deeply realise just how fleeting time is—and how vital it is to make the most of every single moment.
That realisation became the heartbeat of Thorn Valley Studios.
